Diese Gehäuse sind entweder im 19” Format für die Rackmontage oder in Form einer Stagebox lieferbar.

Im Inneren des Gehäuses ist praktisch alles möglich - vom einfachen parallelen aufsplitten, trafosymetrieren bis hin zum aufsplitten über Trafos.

Das Material für die Rackpanels ist schwarz anodisiertes Aluminium und das für die Stageboxen ist in schwarz pulverbeschichtetem Stahl.

Auch beim Anschluss an die “Aussenwelt” ist alles möglich, beginnend vom fix montierten Kabel für Festinstallationen bis hin zu den verschiedensten Multipinanschlüssen.

Medusa Mini 6 - Mini 12

The MINI-6 and MINI-12 are ideal drop snakes for cleaning up cable runs in the studio or on stage. Use them for a keyboard rig, a complex drumkit setup, or any place you need to gather up mic lines. Both units feature clearly labeled side-exit connectors and fit in many places where a traditional box would be too bulky. (The Mini-12 is also available with a Whirlwind W1 multipin disconnect.)

Medusa Standard Serie

Whirlwind's Medusa Series Snakes have been the touring standard worldwide for more than twenty years. They're still made here at our Rochester NY factory.

Each Medusa Standard Series Snake begins with a heavy duty steel stage box wired with Whirlwind multipair cable and ends in a multichannel fanout.

Fanouts employ multiple layers of rugged heat shrink at the most critical points and include a wire mesh hanger to support the fanout at the board. Optional ®SnakeSkin is available for the ultimate in fanout protection.

Then to make certain that this is the toughest snake around, we add a heavy-duty wire mesh strain relief at the box with internal cable clamp.

Standard fanout lengths are:
3 ft. - up to 28 channels
4 ft. - 28 channels and up

Medusas are also available with integrated cable reel.
